 We are continuing to grow our high-performance organisation based both centrally in Huntingdon and across major sites in the UK.

To continue to grow and enhance our reputation with our customers, we are looking for a proactive and driven Maintenance Leader on one of our main treatment contracts in Irvine, Scotland to support the team by challenging and looking to enhance current processes and ways of working.

 Responsibilities:

As the new Maintenance Leader for one of our main sites, you’ll lead the strategy, design, planning and implementation of maintenance of the WasteWater Treatment Plant assets on behalf of our client, a worldwide leader in the pharmaceutical industry. Driving the development of an optimised preventative maintenance programme, you’ll work with the team to achieve asset availability targets which will help deliver our target of 100% treated effluent compliance.

You’ll be viewed as the lead engineering interface between us and our client, will form an integral part of the operational and management team, deputising for the Operations and Contract Manager when required, and be a dynamic, forward thinking and determined achiever.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Clearly communicate plans and objectives to the team to meet targets.

·         Help develop and implement an improved proactive asset management strategy

·         Work closely with the electrical and mechanical team members to agree best practice.

·         React quickly to asset breakdowns implementing approaches to cut risk, cost and time to repair.

·         Critically review maintenance plans against client KPIs and drivers.

·         Provide detailed analysis and commentary to contribute to Continuous Improvements.

·         Support on Health & Safety initiatives ensuring safety is paramount to all activities at all times.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, we are looking for you to have practical and hands- on experience within field maintenance and be familiar with asset management principles. It would be beneficial if your background lies within waste water or water treatment operations. As a strong and engaging leader, you’ll lead by example by displaying flexibility and a customer- centric approach which will drive towards commercially designed goals.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and have a flexible attitude towards your work, including on call and occasional weekend working.

With strong analytical skills, you’ll be an excellent team player with a positive and proactive outlook and able to deliver strategic initiatives on a site level.
